Program Overview

Any trucker that does business with GCT New York LP and uses E-ZPass® to pay the Staten Island bridge tolls is qualified to participate in this program. Participants can start their enrollment by clicking the "Request an Account" button, attach their current E-ZPass® monthly statement (downloaded from the E-ZPass® website) and follow the directions for our registration on this website. The reimbursed funds are remitted via Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) directly to Participants' ACH Bank Account on a weekly basis. It is easy to enroll and participants can get a toll refund sent directly to their bank.

The announcement by Governor Cuomo's office said the GCT-PA Agreement "will keep GCT New York LP in Howland Hook through 2029, retain 500 jobs and ensure significant investments to enhance the facility's competitiveness."

GCT, working with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PA), provides relief from the impact of toll increases on port truckers that do business with the terminal. This Toll Reimbursement Program is intended to freeze truck tolls over the Staten Island connectors (Goethals Bridge, Bayonne Bridge and Outer Bridge) and rolls back the truck tolls to the 2008 level.

GCT New York LP is a full-service container and general cargo facility in the New York harbor. Strategically located on Staten Island near the Goethals Bridge, the terminal occupies 187 acres (58 hectares) of upland area. It is readily accessible to major truck routes and features on-dock rail service, connecting to the North American rail network. GCT has been honored with the Bi-State Truck Award for Best Terminal Operator six times since 2004.
